French singer Crystal Murray’s music video for “Too Much to Taste” is a sexy, colorful take on a carnival fairground that’s sure to make you hunger in more ways than one. The delicious video is complete with cotton candy, funnel cakes, whatever those artificial cream cones are and of course in the middle of it all Murray herself. “Too Much to Taste” appears on her EP Twisted Bases, which was released in February 2022.
Murray is a 20-year-old jazz and soul singer, who makes her chosen genres her own in every way and offers listeners a dazzling treat. While young, Murray isn’t a newcomer to the musical world. At 13, Murray was part of her Paris hometown’s four-person Gucci Gang crew. She’s been wowing audiences ever since, from her 2018 song “After 10” to her 2020 debut EP, I Was Wrong.
In “Too Much to Taste” her sugar spun voice croons with lyrics like:

Murray told Paper:
“Too much to taste is a song about giving too much of yourself to someone. It is the is the echo of sexual intercourse, the desire to give your body to the person you choose.”
