Song of The Week: “I Think I Like When It Rains” by WILLIS

Based in Nashville, but originally from Florence, Alabama, WILLIS is a five-piece indie/rock band producing very groovy melodic and surf-rock vibe sounds. Composed of Murphy Billings, Edward Armstead, Trey Murphy, Glenn O’Steen and Will O’Steen, who all attended the same school in their hometown (!), they officially formed as the band in 2016 and the rest was history.

The rhythmic attitude and chill rock vibes of their music take the listener on a journey through the hypnotizing and mellow rock sound arrangements. Here in “I Think I Like When It Rains” you can’t help but want to cozy up with a book and enjoy the rain right along with them. If the song reminds you of something, it’s probably “Don’t Let Me Down” by The Beatles, but that somehow just makes this tune all the more comforting.
