Sex and intimacy coach, thought leader and relationship writer Zoë Kors is the author of the forthcoming book Radical Intimacy: Cultivate the Deeply Connected Relationships You Desire and Deserve (Hachette Go, April 12), which shares her methodology for nurturing and sustaining our intimate relationships. Zoë is expanding on the ideas in the book with her new podcast Radical Intimacy. Each week we will share details about a new episode. On the podcast’s ninth episode Zoë shares the first chapter of her book Radical Intimacy and explores why there’s much more to intimacy than sex. She discusses how she lost her sex drive during her first marriage, despite loving her husband and having sex, was convinced there was something wrong with her, and felt totally alone. “I had no one to turn to, no one who could help me understand what I was experiencing, set me on a lifelong path and purpose of exploring and discovering the true nature of sexuality.” From there, that path led her to exploring the concept of radical intimacy and why making it “the foundational principle of our existence,” we can have the life we want. Listen to the episode and learn more about radical intimacy in the book, which will be published April 12.
