Imagining the Future

What will your fantasies look like in five years?

The future of sex technology is evolving before our eyes. Things are changing quickly, and the possibilities are broader than ever before.

Artificial Intelligence Provides New Experiences

Companies such as the Real Doll company continue creating robots that are meant to be lifelike and realistic, however refining interactive artificial technology is proving to be a slow moving process.

Meanwhile, other ventures are developing tech that is designed with pleasure in mind, setting aside lifelike, realistic features.

Virtual Reality Broadens Horizons

VR technology is evolving rapidly to provide immersive encounters. Already this technology can accommodate multiple users and respond to the movements of a user.

Between immersion in virtual settings and the inclusion of multiple users, virtual reality is poised to provide sexual experiences that transcend what is possible in everyday reality.

Here’s more from the article:

“VR researcher Sylvia Xueni Pan explained the immersive nature of VR technology. It creates what she describes as a placement and plausibility illusion within the human brain. As a result of its real-time positioning, 3-D stereo display and its total field of view, the user’s brain comes to believe that the user is really present. As she says: ‘If situations and events that happen in VR actually correlates to your actions and relates personally to you, then you react towards these events as if they were real.'”
